A young Drew Banas began pounding nails and cutting wood when he was 8 years old. He wasn't much into cabinets back them...it was more like tree houses. They weren't your standard tree houses though, they were literally houses in the trees.

With a love for building and constructing, Drew sharpened his skills as a teenager building birdhouses and tables with his father. Soon after, he wasn't just helping his father build...he was building himself.

After college, Drew decided to set his degree aside and return to what he truly loved doing, which was woodworking. He honed his skills as a cabinet builder for several years, before his entrepreneurial spirit lead him to build his own custom cabinetry business.

In 2004, Drew purchased some tools, leased his first warehouse and set off to create the ultimate hand-crafted custom furniture. Today, Illinois Cabinet Company is where dreams come to life...not just Drew's dreams, but the dreams of every customer that receives the perfect piece from Drew and his staff.
